ABOUT US

The members of Valley Forge Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of the Sons of the American Revolution thank you for visiting. The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution is a heritage society whose members have proven their linage to a patriot ancestor. The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, which was organized on April 30, 1889, the Valley Forge Chapter was chartered in June 1925 at a ceremony held at the Hotel Bethlehem. The chapter includes Carbon, Lehigh Monroe, Northampton Pike and Eastern Schuylkill counties. The chapter has about 115 members.

The Valley Forge Chapter meets four times a year in February, May September and November. Our chapter celebrates joint luncheon with the DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution in the Lehigh Valley. See the calendar for meeting dates.

Each year in November, The Valley Forge Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, in conjunction with the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Sixth Pennsylvania Revolutionary War re-enactors, conducts a memorial service at the Tomb of the Unknown Revolutionary War Soldier at First Avenue and West Market Streets, Bethlehem,
